Meet Morgan

Why hello there!

I’m Morgan (she/her), a group and individual therapist. My passion is helping my clients feel empowered, understood, and connected to their authentic selves.  Whether in individual session or group, I love seeing that spark in someone’s eyes when it clicks. When they realize how capable and worthy they truly are. That moment, when someone realizes that they don’t have to keep telling themselves that they’re too much and simultaneously not enough, lights me up inside.

I feel so honored to sit with people one-on-one for individual sessions.  Regardless of which emotions show up in the room, it brings me joy to create a place where you get to say all the things in your heart and mind without fear of judgment.  I’m lucky enough to have seen the power of one person just sitting with another person and listening.  I believe individual sessions have the potential to change lives.

My [professional] happy place is in a counseling group.  I crave the opportunity to help create moments of connection where my clients feel less alone and more seen and understood.  The teaching, the listening, the sharing, all of it feels like part of my bigger purpose.

How I roll (in sessions)…

At work, you’ll hear me often professing my deep and super not overboard admiration for Brene Brown, offering lots of compassion and validation, bringing up boundaries anytime I get the chance, using lots of analogies, and just occasionally using questionable language.

In both individual and group sessions, I work to create a warm, honest, authentic, and safe place where sessions are tailored around your needs. That might mean that we talk about skills to help cope or communicate, focus on concrete goals, talk about the bigger life picture, chat about values, challenge thoughts about yourself/a situation, and/or just have a real conversation.
